FAQ's on Meso-Face Treatment
Using a series of micro-injections, our Aesthetic Health Practitioner injects naturally occurring ingredients found in the skin such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins (A, B, C, E, K), minerals, coenzymes and nucleic acids, to improve the appearance of the skin, reduce sagging and restore hydration.
A series of micro injections are injected at the epidermal layer of the skin. These ingredients contain naturally occurring micro nutrients beneficial to the skin. You will feel a mild pricking sensation, which is usually easily tolerated.
For best results it is advisable to follow a low-fat diet, avoid alcohol and other stimulants and drink a lot of water to help eliminate toxins; while undergoing the treatment.
Initially a course of 6 to 8 sessions are advised every 2 weeks, with maintenance 1-2 times a year.
Meso-Face combats sagging and ageing of the skin, improves wrinkles, and also gives luminosity to the face. It does this by stimulating the skin tissue, firming and toning. It restructures mature skin, repairs post-traumatic skin imperfections and increases the elasticity and hydration of the skin. As a result, your face regains its natural elasticity, shape and glow. Since this non-invasive treatment replenishes naturally-occurring substances required by the skin to rehydrate and repair imperfections, the results are quick and long-lasting.
Some bruising may occur after the session which disappears soon afterwards. Mild redness may also appear which goes away after a few hours. It is also advised that you do not expose the skin to the sun – so use a good sunscreen if you are going out in the sun.
