Bio Skin Jetting

BioSkin Jetting

Bio Skin Jetting is a completely natural method of diminishing wrinkles based upon the skins own natural regeneration capabilities. By creating a controlled injury into the wrinkle the dermal tissue is stimulated into forming new tissue that contains young collagen and elastin fibres that spread through the wrinkle. It is a revolutionary wrinkle treatment and a natural alternative to Botox and Dermal Fillers e.g. Restaylane.

When we are children, tonofibrils (which produce collagen) are active as we grow. However as we reach adulthood, these only become active when we are injured hence through injuring the skin with bio-skin-jetting, we can “kick start” the tonofibrils.

By simply stimulating the area beneath the wrinkle, new skin cells are produced that contain young collagen and elastin fibres. These grow, causing the skin to expand into the wrinkle, revitalising the area to create smoother, younger looking skin. BioSkin Jetting is a 100% organic and safe method for the correction of wrinkles; a scientifically-based method that offers a natural alternative to injections. BioSkin Jetting will take on the battle with wrinkles and deeper-lying scars. In this method, the wrinkle is loosened, as it were, with a micro-probe; a very delicate needle. the skin is then stimulated to produce young collagen fibres on its own, without the need for injections. This naturally produced collagen will fill in the wrinkle or the deeper-lying scar in a completely natural way.

Origin of BioSkin Jetting

BioSkin Jetting originates from a basic method called subscision, which is a technique developed over 14 years ago, for dermatologists and surgeons to remove cellulite, scars and wrinkles. This was then developed into BioSkinJetting which is a method for beauty therapists to diminish wrinkles and scars. In addition to this, BioSkin Smoothing was developed for deeper wrinkles, all types of scars and for the fine network of lines found on skin. The benefits of BioSkinJetting when combined with BioSkinSmoothing are fantastic. Nothing has preceded it and nothing compares with it.

Developed for beauty therapists to diminish wrinkles and scars, BioSkin Jetting by Sterex is a completely natural method not requiring injection of any foreign substances and is based upon the skin’s own natural regeneration capabilities. By activating the area immediately underneath the wrinkle, the skin is stimulated into forming new tissue. This new tissue contains young collagen and elastic fibres that spread through the wrinkle.

BioSkin Jetting Procedure

First, an anesthetic cream is applied which makes the skin less sensitive. A micro-probe and special techniques are used to break up the wrinkle and stimulate the skin directly beneath the wrinkle by forming new connective tissue with young collagen fibers. This means that nothing is injected! The body’s ‘own’ new collagen forms a cushioning effect that pushes the wrinkle upwards. After the treatment, you will see that the treated wrinkle or scar has become a fine red line, which will disappear completely within a few days. The red line can be covered up immediately with Skin by Sterex camouflage cover cream to make it invisible.

What does the skin look like after treatment?

Immediately after the treatment the wrinkles are transformed into fine red lines. These disappear within a few days. It is important to use sun block after the treatment. It is possible in the intervening period to camouflage the area with makeup.

How many treatments are necessary?

Depending on the number of wrinkles a treatment may vary in duration between 15 and 40 minutes. The treatment can be repeated every two weeks, and the amount required depends very much on your age, lifestyle and the depth of the wrinkles. You will notice an improvement after each treatment. For fine wrinkles one to 3 treatments are usually required. For deeper wrinkles we advise 5 to 7 treatment sessions.

Post Treatment Care

During the treatment course, it is essential that clients avoid ultraviolet or sunlight exposure and use sunblock to cover the red lines. Failure to do this can result in the red line becoming pigmented and turning brown. Although such pigmentation can be reduced through peels and massage, it can be difficult to fade completely and may be permanent.

In clients with very sensitive skin, there can be a small amount of swelling occasionally, and even less often, a little bruising in the treated area. This is normal and will usually disappear over a few days. The body is very good at healing such injuries and the best results occur if the areas are left well alone and are not touched.
